1. Set up your personal info

1. Click on YOUR ACCOUNT
2. Click on PERSONAL INFO
3. Click on the red pen to edit your personal info. Type in any field you wish to fill out. The only mandatory field is TRUE NAME.
-PUBLIC EMAIL ADDRESS an email you don't mind other people seeing.
-WEBSITE would be your personal website or blog.
-SIGNATURE will be placed at the bottom of any forum posts you make.
4. Click on the green wrench icon to head back to the account panel.


2. Upload an AVATAR(personal photo icon)

An AVATAR is a personal photo icon that will appear next to your posts in the forum.

Step 1. Create the Avatar

-Open an image you want to use as your Avatar in Photoshop or your regular imaging program
-Under IMAGE SIZE, set the longest dimension to 100 pixels
-Save as a JPEG, high quality

Step 2. Upload the Avatar
-Select YOUR ACCOUNT in the MAIN MENU
-Select AVATAR MANAGEMENT
-At the bottom, click on CHOOSE FILE.
-Select the file you want to upload
-Click UPLOAD and it will be uploaded and set as your Avatar!

You are allowed 1 Avatar, if you want to upload a new one, repeat this process. Note: You may need to hit the refresh button to have it display your new Avatar.


3. Configure your PRIVATE MESSAGE system

1. Click on YOUR ACCOUNT
2. Click CONFIGURE PRIVATE MESSAGES
3. If you wish to be notified via email when you are sent a private message, select YES under EMAIL NOTIFICATION.


4. Set up your DISCUSSION FORUM preferences

1. Click on YOUR ACCOUNT
2. Click on FORUM
3. If you want to be notified when new posts are made, click on SUBSCRIBE FORUM next to each category you want to subscribe to.


5. Introduce yourself!

First thing you should is INTRODUCE YOURSELF on the forum!
1. Click on DISCUSSION forum in the menu
2. Click on ANNOUNCEMENTS/EVENTS/CLASSIFIEDS forum
3. Click on NEW TOPIC, and tell us who you are! Give as little or as much info as you like! Where you live, what you do, what you love photographing, what courses you took with Noel and when, whatever you like!


6. Start taking part!

What you do now is completely up to you!

-ADD A WEBLINK
1. Click on WEB LINKS in the menu
2. Click on ADD LINK
3. Type in a name for the link under SiteTitle:
4. Copy and paste the link for the site into PAGE URL:
5. Choose a CATEGORY for your link
6. Provide a short description for the site
7. Click on the green checkmark at the bottom to submit your link

The link will be sent to the admin, who will approve/disapprove it.

-POST IN THE FORUM
The discussion forum has a wide variety of categories and topics.
You can post a photo for critiquing, add information on an upcoming event, post an interesting article, 1. Click on DISCUSSION forum in the menu
2. Click on the category you wish to post in
3. Click on NEW TOPIC to start a new post, or click on the post you want to reply to and type in your reply in the bottom.
